I was misguided in the beginning and pursued medicine and chemistry, only to realize the aspects of those disciplines I enjoyed the most were identifying problems and writing programs to aid practitioners.

Now my purpose is clear - identify vunerable code, and secure it.

I am slowly building a functional home lab based on what is interesting to learn about and what seems to be necessary in today's AI/Cloud environment. This includes

Configuring Cisco network device automation with Ansible/Terraform

Implementing defensive security programs (Snort, OSSEC, Wazuh)

Working with popular cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

Exploring exploits in virtual environments and bounty programs

Building tools to solve problems or reduce workload

Currently certified PCAP, Security+, CCNA. Working on getting the following certs next:
